Welcome to Scone Tennis Club
Your community tennis club at Scone started off with lots of events and dates – some of which were disrupted due to the weather including our Club Opening Day! But hopefully Spring is now here and with the competitive season started other social dates have been set for the rest of 2018, see our Social Calendar on the Events page.
Firstly a plug for Dave Pirnie, our very own Thelma, who is driving a banger over the Alps in July for WATCH. What About The Children? campaigns to prevent the emotional neglect of young children. for more information see https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/david-pirnie
The Committee has reviewed and updated our Safeguarding Policy, Safeguarding Policy 2018. Go to the Club page, Fair Play section, to see the other relevant documents.
Active Andys – The Club is pleased to announce the re-establishment of our nationally recognized Active Andys section for childen with additional support needs. If you know of anyone who would be interested in attending these Friday late afternoon sessions, which are generally held on the mini-tennis court, please get in touch with Marcin.
The headings at the top of this page give all our categories of news and information. We are a Scottish Charity, SCO33915, and as an active community resource we try to cater for all ages and standards. We would love to see you at our Clubmark / Tennismark accredited club.
We run a number of Adult and Junior teams in the season giving plenty of competitive options throughout the year with activities most nights. Non members can access the courts by collecting a key from the Spar shop up the road and paying a visitor fee. Much more information is available on this website but if you have a question that has not been answered then contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org . We look forward to seeing you!
