Scone Tennis Club

Is a friendly and popular community sports club filled with players of all ages and abilities. We achieved the Clubmark accreditation in 2009 which shows that our Club provides the right environment ensuring the welfare of members and encouraging everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives. A Clubmark accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they’re choosing the right club for their young people.

The Club was formed in 1931 soon after the ground was gifted to the village by Charles Hutchison. A local benefactor, Robert Douglas, who was born and brought up in Scone before making his fortune in America, funded the park groundworks at that time.
