Tennis for Kids
Two 6 week sets of free Saturday coaching sessions for kids who are not Club members, aged 7 or 8 years,  were run during the year.  They were part of the LTA Davis Cup Legacy free coaching initiative and brought a number of new members to the club as well as being lots of fun for those who took part.

Tennis Tuesdays  Another new initiative from the LTA which Scone Tennis Club was happy to take up.  This one was aimed at women who may have always wanted to play tennis and/or  those who used to play and want to get back into the sport.

Ladies Tennis Tuesdays continues every week as another social play session for adults 2 – 3pm, no coaching.

Rusty Racquets -  on a Wednesday night from 7pm till 9pm depending on the weather.  Informal coaching and play.  Just drop in and join the fun.

Social Tennis -  not coaching but new opportunities to drop in to the Club for a couple of hours or more on a weekly basis every Friday evenings from 7pm onwards and Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm.  Play some tennis, meet new people and have a cup of tea!  Everyone is welcome to come along, no need to book and no charge for members.   Non members are welcome to come along and try a session.

Sunday Morning Practice  -  prior to and during the season this starts at 10am doubles/mixed doubles team practice for members representing STC in league matches.
