The 2019 Club Coaching Programme

Unfortunately, Marcin Tycner has moved on to a new job in Edinburgh – we wish him all the best – so the Club is looking to recruit a new Head Coach who will then set up next year’s Coaching Programme.

Coaching Charter for Scone Tennis Club :   STC is now using the new LTA Clubserve software for self- evaluation, and has recently looked at our junior coaching provision. Adult Beginners – free open sessions for non members were run by Marcin over three Fridays in March – 9th, 16th and 23rd.   See poster Free adults session SCONE TENNIS CLUB

Active Andys – The Club is pleased to announce the re-establishment of our nationally recognized Active Andys section for childen with additional support needs. If you know of anyone who would be interested in attending these Friday late afternoon sessions, which are generally held on the mini-tennis court, please get in touch with Marcin.

Rusty Racquets -  on a Wednesday night from 7pm till 9pm depending on the weather.  Informal coaching and play.  Just drop in and join the fun.

Social Tennis -  not coaching but opportunities to drop in to the Club for a couple of hours or more on a weekly basis every Friday evenings from 7pm onwards and Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm.  Play some tennis, meet new people and have a cup of tea!  Everyone is welcome to come along, no need to book and no charge for members.   Non members are welcome to come along and try a session.

Sunday Morning Practice  -  prior to and during the season this starts at 10am doubles/mixed doubles team practice for members representing STC in league matches.
